Bylaws
Bylaws are the foundational rules of our
organization, owned by the Representative Council. They outline the basic commitments of our association and can only be amended by a two-thirds vote of the Representative Council, provided that notice of the proposed change was given at a prior meeting of the body. Our Bylaws are the "What we do."
Standing Rules
Standing Rules are rules owned by the Executive Board, as established in the Bylaws. They provide the practical details for how our Association’s Bylaws and Policies are put into action. Standing Rules can be changed at any time by a majority vote of the Executive Board. Our Standing Rules are the "How we do, what we do."
