Our Committees
Our committees are the life-blood of our organization. They are a great place for members to dip their toe in being more involved in our union. As the saying goes, "Many hands make light work!"

Community Outreach
Collaborates with parents and community members towards better schools for our students in Corona, Norco, and Eastvale.

Negotiations
Supports the bargaining team with research, data analysis and specific expertise for our many member roles in order to achieve a successful bargain.
Political Action
Plans and executes political campaigns to support candidates that believe in public education.

Bylaws & Standing Rules
Creates, edits, and recommends changes to our standing rules and bylaws, ensuring our governance documents are consistent, legal, and supportive of creating a strong local.

Organizing
Systematically empowers members to create positive change at both the site and district levels.
Communications

Elections
Ensures fair and legal elections and ratification votes.

Human Rights
Promotes an inclusive culture that engages and builds on the assets of students, families, staff and community members.

Member Engagement
Implements plans to support and encourage member engagement through workshops and showing appreciation.

Scholarship
Organizes the scholarship interview process and allocates scholarships from the association’s scholarship fund to local CNUSD Seniors.

Representation
Analyzes our membership roles to ensure our director representation adheres to the essential ideal of one person, one vote!

Grievance
Enforces our Collective Bargaining Agreement

Benefits
Analyzes and promotes existing health and wellness benefits, and recommends improvements to the benefit structure.

Social
Promotes and facilitates all of CNTA's celebrations, bringing our members together for opportunities to break bread, laugh, build relationships and HAVE FUN!!

Membership Assistance
Administers our Membership Assistance Fund based on our Standing Rules.
Budget
Analyzes and creates the draft budget proposal that is approved by our Representative Council. This committee helps to ensure that our budget matches our priorities.
Collaborates with the President of CNTA to engage and inform members through social media, newsletters, SMS messages and the website.
